Not since John Waters’ 80′s movie gimmick “Odorama” have movies smelled so real. This month, Thierry Mugler released a fragrance collection designed to accompany the newly-released film Perfume: the Story of a Murderer. The set contains 15 scents, each meant to be sniffed during particular points of the movie. Among the set are the aromas of babies, tanneries, mossy graveyards, virgins, and one dubbed “Paris 1738,” which exudes the stenches of urine and greasy hair. Consumers can purchase the set at Thierry Mugler’s web site for $700 US.
